Havana Express

Havana Express Ltd. is a neighbouring Cayman Island entity planning to provide high speed ferry service between Havana and South Florida.

Havana Express will offer reliable daily round trip passenger and cargo service, operated by professional Cuban crews, from Havana to South Florida, and return daily.

Proposed service

Havana Express intends to offer a truly authentic Cuban experience on board including a Cuban theme restaurant, three Cuban themed bars serving unique specialty drinks, Cuban Coffee bar, Cuban themed entertainment, a kids game room, duty free shop, high speed Internet and cell phone service, as well as movie rentals .

The ship intended for the crossing is an InCat 96 meter long, 5 meter significant wave height certified vessel, thereby guaranteeing a reliable and comfortable Florida Straights crossing. Havana Express will offer a passenger service for up to 966 passengers, as well as cargo service for up to 230 cars or 330 truck lane meters of cargo.

The journey is expected to take around six and half hours between Havana and Port Everglades, at the most economical fares available.
